Michigan Balloon Corporation’s main goal has always been the safety and enjoyment of our passengers, our team and our community. To ensure the health and safety of our passengers, pilots and crew, we have implemented several new procedures that will remain in place until the virus is no longer a concern.
If you are experiencing any symptoms, such as fever, cough, shortness of breath, chills, headache, muscle pain, sore throat, new loss of smell, or any symptoms that resemble a head cold such as sinus congestion or a runny nose, please wait to take your flight. You will not be penalized for the cancellation.
Balloon rides take place outdoors where fresh air is plentiful, however, there is no way to social distance in the retrieval vehicle that takes you back to the field. We recommend that our unvaccinated passengers have family or friends follow with a vehicle behind our retrieval vehicle so that you can leave from the landing site with them, so please arrange that in advance. If you are unable to make that arrangement, we will drive you back to the field, however, please be aware that you will be in an enclosed vehicle during that time and it is recommended that you wear a mask per CDC guidelines. (If you have arranged a ride, we just ask that you do not leave the landing site right away as we have a surprise for you after we have packed the balloon into the trailer.)
We look forward to bringing you the quality experience you have come to expect from Michigan Balloon Corporation and we wish you all good health.
